What is cough?

“Coughing is your body’s natural response to clear irritants from your throat and mucus from your airways.”

People casually cough to clear their throat but if it stays for more than two weeks then it has to be taken care of. An unresolved cough within a few weeks could be a sign of various other serious health problems. It is especially recommended to see a doctor if your cough is associated with blood, or it sounds like a bark.
